I tried contacting Mike Macaboy over the years, but he either had forgotten me or perhaps did not care to hear from me. Anyway I am sorry to hear of his death. Does anyone when/ how he died ?
Thanks

Mike and I grew up in the same neighborhood and attended Catholic Grade School at St. Bernadetts.  Although we were never close friends, as Mike and I had very much different personalities, I do remember his enthusiasm and humor.

I was very surprised to hear that Mike had passed away and was also socked to hear how he had passed.  Chemical Dependency is a terrible thing to have and more often than not causes a premature passing if not treated.

Mike, rest well and know that hopefully you are in a better place.

Went to St. B's with both Mike and Bob back in the day   Mike was just full of life back then  Many good lives are lost to the dependence of something and some come back and others do not make the trip back at all Always good on the playground in dodge ball with the nuns saying do not throw the ball that hard, we never listened and those big red marks on your body told you that you took one for the team   Spent 11 years with Mike at school never good friends but he would always say hello  Served mass as alter boy with him many times just one way to get out of class for an hour right when school started.  I can still see standing in the playground at St. B's the kid with the big smile who is now gone
