I am from the class of 71. I was so sadden and shocked to have first read about Stuart in the death notices in the Post  I had a crush on Stuart at  NHS and for a while.  My deepest condolences to his family. What a wonderful guy you were Stuart. ??

I was the worst swimmer on the Wheaton Haven team, but it was worth the humiliation and those chilly, early-morning practices just to watch Stuart glide across the pool in his Speedo. At Sligo, Stuart stood out as a man in our midst -- a sweet and gentle man. Sharon, you are so lucky you got to be his girlfriend, even for a minute! Rest in peace, Stuart. A lot of people are thinking about you.

I too am sorry to hear about Stuart. We attended the same elementary school and of course all the girls thought he was cool and cute. I remember him as being smart, a good student, a leader and a nice guy
