June's Latest Interactions
Reading this now in 2025, I am devastated to learn of Patti's passing in 2005. It brought tears to my eyes...we were good friends then. She always had a sweet smile and demeanor about her. That is really what drew me to her. As I came into Northwood from Einstein High School in the middle of the 11th grade, it was difficult to make friends being so new in the neighborhood, but Patti didn't let that stop her from reaching out to someone who really needed a friend at that time. Especially a Northwood Indian vs. an Einstein Titan...lol...I remember when school was wrapping up for the senior year, she mentioned that she was going out west to live with the Mormons there. I thought that was amazing in and of itself. When I read that Patti worked in Mercy Ships, I thought...that is exactly the type of person she was...kind, good-hearted, level headed and so good a character ! I have thought about her over the years and I only wished that I had gone to earlier reunions...too many decent people gone...may she rest in peace with the Good Lord Who watches over us all !!
